Recently, the Teacher Education Center partnered with the School of Mathematical Sciences and the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering to host a live-streamed educational internship event. Students from the 2023 and 2024 cohorts majoring in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (Teacher Education) and Physics (Teacher Education) engaged in observation sessions in Room 201, Main Building A on campus.
On November 27th, all students from the Mathematics (Teacher Education) Class of 2022 participated in a one-day educational internship at Jiepai Middle School in Danyang City. On the afternoon of the 27th, all students from the Mathematics (Teacher Education) Class of 2023 attended a live broadcast in Room 201 of the main A building on campus, where they listened to the lecture “Education Is a Journey Towards Beauty” delivered by Wenyue Leng, the Party Secretary and Principal of Jiepai Middle School.
On December 5th, all students from the 2022 Physics (Teacher Education) cohort participated in a one-day educational internship at Xinqiao Middle School in Danyang City. On the morning of the 5th, students from the 2023 and 2024 Physics (Teacher Education) cohorts participated in live-streamed classes in Room 201 of the main A building on campus, where they received instruction on “Speed” and “Electricity Meters and Electric Work.” After the online observation, the students participated in group conversations to exchange their learning experiences.
Through the implementation of live broadcast educational observation activities, we extensively enhance remote teaching resources, offering learning and observation opportunities for first and second-year students majoring in education at our university. This initiative aids education majors in cultivating the aspiration to become “great teachers” and reinforces the commitment to embodying the “spirit of educators.”
