On November 11th, the Education Evaluation Evidence Based Research Center held a lecture on "Accountability Testing in New York State" in Conference Room 1806 of Sanjiang Building. This lecture is led by Dr. Patrick Whipple, an American evaluation expert, and presided over by Professor Golden Rock. Some teachers and graduate students from the school attended academic lectures.

Dr. Patrick Whipple introduced the development history of the New York State Responsibility Test in the United States, focusing on analyzing the evaluation of English language art and mathematics courses from third to eighth grades in New York State. He also presented the new standards for English language art courses in New York State through case studies and data charts. In addition, he also analyzed the problems in the New York State primary and secondary school exams in the United States. After the lecture, the on-site teachers and students had an interactive exchange with Dr. Patrick Whipple.
